Description

Locations where an assessment of riverbank protection fencing has been undertaken and the exact spatial location of fences is unknown. The linework is based on river linework - it does not show the spatial location of fences. Selecting a point along the linework will indicate if there is a fence which protects the river bank and may indicate the condition of the fence. It should be noted that linework will appear where an assessment of riverbank protection fencing has been undertaken, even if no fence is present at that location. Left and right bank are relative to an observer facing downstream. This dataset was formerly known as Foreshore Conditions - Assessment of Right Bank Protection Fencing (DOW-047)
