Description
The Forest Management Plan (FMP) is a plan developed every 10 years to manage all conservation reserves, state forest and other lands in the SW of WA that are vested in the Conservation Commission of WA. This layer shows the extent of the management plan area - it comprises a total area of over 2.5 million Ha. The aim of the plan, based on the principles of ecologically sustainable forest management (ESFM), is to maintain the economic and social values derived from the use of natural areas ensuring that impacts on biodiversity are minimal and precautionary in nature. Purpose: To show area covered by current FMP 2024-2033 which constitutes the DBCA regions of Swan, South-west and Warren and the lands comprising of the Redmond forest block (South-coast Region).
