GENERAL APPROVAL UNDER SECTION 16(3) OF THE MINING ACT 1978 SECTION 439, OFFSHORE MINERALS ACT 2003 AND SECTION 91(5), LAND ADMINISTRATION ACT 1997 Pursuant to section 16(3) of the Mining Act 1978, section 439 of the Offshore Minerals Act 2003 and section 91 of the Land Administration Act 1997, a general approval in respect of all land proposals that fall within the land areas in this dataset. This is on the understanding that where there is any uncertainty regarding a land proposal and/or the question of whether or not it falls within one of the categories of land described hereunder, the matter will be resolved between the relevant Agencies or, as a precaution if considered necessary, referred to the Department of Mines and Petroleum for consideration. This general approval excludes land proposals where it is proposed to take rights issued pursuant to the above mentioned Acts.
