Incident Control Centre Sites (DBCA-062)
Published by Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions
Description
The Incident Control Site dataset represents the fire facilities around the state as nominated by the DBCA District Managers. Each site is either a Fixed Facility Incident Control Centre or Field Incident Control Centre Site. The dataset identifies sites for specific purposes should a fire event occur in the area. It is a dynamic dataset that will change over time and be reviewed every year. It is also important to note that an Incident Control Site whether it be a fixed or field ICC site can also be used as an Operations Point or Staging Area. DBCA does not purport that the information contained in this shapefile represents the only sites/all sites that are potentially available to be used as FFICC-Fixed Facility Incident Control Centre, FICCS- Field Incident Control Centre Sites. It is however a good guide for managers to determine a management site when required.
