The line of contact between the ocean/sea and the land as best interpreted from ortho-imagery. The Framework Line is not a continuous unbroken line. It is segmented according to where and when the line was last revised. For an unbroken coastline best suited to mapping purposes see the Medium Scale Topo Framework Polygon / Coastline (LGATE-120). The two datasets are kept in sync. © Western Australian Land Information Authority (Landgate).
