South Coast Significant Wetlands (DBCA-018)

Description
The former WRC SC region have developed a spreadsheet which aims to document the South Coast natural assets which come under the WRC jurisdiction. There are four main worksheets which cover river systems, wetlands, ground water and surface water. The methodology used to spatially reference the wetlands worksheet of the WRC spreadsheet which contains the data to be used for the purpose of the South Coast Regional Strategy for NRM. Need to display records of the wetlands worksheet spatially was identified. Spatial information regarding the wetlands is available although no data set suited this purpose as the data in the worksheet was gathered from different sources, predominately wetland survey reports by Semeniuk and Ecologica, representing the regionally significant wetlands of the South Coast.
