Total magnetic intensity (80m) of WA v1, 2020 (DMIRS-067)
Published by Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety
Description
Total magnetic intensity (TMI) - The data are displayed using a pseudo colour ramp with relief shading (azimuth 45°, elevation 45°). Values from low to high are represented by colours blue to red. This merged magnetic anomaly data from onshore and offshore WA is generated from Federal and State government data sets acquired with a line spacing of 500 metres or less and over 1600 open file Company data sets at various line spacings. The Geoscience Australia magnetic grid of Australia V6 2015 (Nakamura, 2015) has been used as a base reference grid and is also used to complete the background areas where closer spaced data are not available.
