Description

Derived from the Vegetation Trend dataset, the Vegetation Trend Class product, is a simplified one-band summary of the linear vegetation cover trend over specific time periods broken into five classes chosen from inspection for the south west agricultural zone only. The classes have been determined by numeric changes in the linear trend index without ground or ecological interpretation, and may be interpreted tentatively as follows for the pixel values indicated; 1 - major increase in vegetation density over the entire period, 2 - increasing trend, 3 - no major change, 4 - decreasing trend and 5 - major decreasing trend.
